From the recording Time With You
"I really have a soft spot for this particular song. I wrote it while living near Princeton, New Jersey. With this one the guitar came first, almost in its entirety. I really didn't know what I wanted to say. I just asked: 'what is this music saying?' and went from there. I think that musically Time With You is something of a cross between the Pretenders' 'Don't Get Me Wrong' and John Harford's 'Gentle on My Mind!'"
